One sunny Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt in the design of Wheel of Fortune that read:
‘Go F*ck Yourself You F*cking F*ck! Choose a vowel.’
I thought to myself, “So, you chose that shirt to wear out in public today. You went through your drawer, held it up and said, ‘Here it is. This is what I am going to put out into the world. People are going to see this, children, the elderly, grandmas and grandpas, people out to enjoy a beautiful Saturday. This is it!’”
In his defense, he definitely had the persona to match the shirt: scraggly beard, sour look on his face, overweight and sloppy. I’m sure he picked it up off the floor of his disgusting studio apartment. It’s not like a happy, well-adjusted person would wear that shirt in public, or anywhere else. He probably wasn’t on his way to read to the blind or volunteer at a hospice.
We all make choices in life and on that particular Saturday morning, that shirt was his choice. He is entitled to it, God knows. I’m not here to judge.
Of course I am. What the f*ck is wrong with that f*cking f*ck?
